Let the Christmas crafting begin with these Free Grinch SVG files for Cricut cutting machines!
The four quotes I used in these designs are some of the most popular and most requested for Grinch crafts. You are totally going to want to make something for yourself, your kids and for all the Grinch lovers in your life.
Using these free Grinch movie SVG files is a breeze and I’m going to share with you some of my favorite project ideas to get you crafting right away.

To use these designs, you will need to use the download link at the bottom of this post to download the SVG files to your computer or mobile device.
If you’re using Cricut Design Space as your cutting machine software, this is the easiest file to work with as it comes already separated by elements, making it so you don’t have to do any tracing at all.
FREE GRINCH PLEASE SVG
This first design is a great Cricut beginner project! You can cut it out using just one color of vinyl or iron on and you don’t have to struggle with layering or using multiple colors of material to finish the craft.
I think this design would look amazing on a green shirt, just like pictured above. With one sheet of white iron on vinyl and a heat source like your iron, Easy Press or heat press you could could make this shirt in under 25 minutes.
FREE DRINK UP GRINCHES SVG
This is one design that makes for a perfect gift for a Grinch lover who also loves to drink wine or beer. I intend to use this design to make my sister in law a wine glass for her to use during Christmas day.
As for me, I think that this design is perfect on an insulated tumbler. I love to sip my sangria while making Christmas dinner and so when I’m cutting my sister in law’s design, I’ll make it a duplicate and cut one for myself as well.
For this type of project where you’re placing a design on either a wine glass or an insulated tumbler, you definitely want to use a permanent vinyl. This will help it stay on the cup longer and you won’t have to worry about sealing it.
FREE RESTING GRINCH FACE SVG FILE FOR MUGS
If you’re a coffee drinker, and you feel like the Grinch before you get your coffee every morning, then this design is perfect for you!
I can think of at least a few people who are not morning people, until they get their coffee in them. This mug would make a great gift for them.
FREE RESTING GRINCH FACE SVG FOR FACE MASKS
Okay, but seriously this quote is a classic! Use this Resting Grinch Face SVG to put on a blank facemask or even on a coffee mug that you can use in the morning, making this quote super funny if you’re not a morning person.
I can bet that this design on a facemask will get people talking and wondering where you got it. And just how awesome is it to tell people “I made it”?
Remember that to make them last the longest, you’ll want to use stretch iron on material instead of just regular iron on.
Also make sure to place something beneath the mask to ensure even pressure when you go to press the design.
P.S. You can get blank facemasks in bulk on Amazon. These are the ones I like to use because they take to iron on so well.
FREE GRINCH HAND SVG
This Free Grinch Hand SVG file will help you create a long lasting piece of Christmas decor that you can use year after year.
Simply download this Grinch hand Christmas countdown design and make it into a wood sign or reverse canvas.
Then you can just buy chalk markers to write in how many days until Christmas to build the excitement with your family.
This project is great because you can make it with any kind of vinyl that you have around.
For example, if I was making a reverse canvas I would use iron on vinyl. This is super easy to do and it looks amazing when it’s pressed because it looks just like paint, but much neater.
You can also use stencil vinyl and take out some acrylic paint and let the kids help you out for some Christmas craft fun.
And of course in a pinch you can use permanent vinyl on a wood sign if you’ve sanded it down to smooth.

FONTS I USED IN THIS DESIGN
– For the Grinch looking font, I used a font called “Grinched 2.0” by Sharkshock. It’s super cute and is almost identical to the movie font itself. Plus, if you decide to make any other quotes, you’re going to want to have this one in your collection.
– As for the script font, I used a font called “Shealy” by Keithzo (7NTypes). If you’re like script fonts that come with lots of loop d’ loop type extras, you’ll love this one. It’s become one of my faves for sure.
WHERE I GET MY IRON ON AND VINYL MATERIALS
– My favorite vinyl shop of all time is totally Expressions Vinyl! They carry my favorite brand of permanent vinyl which is Oracal 651 and also my favorite brand of iron on which is Siser.
Not only do they have the best prices I’ve found, but the quality, shipping time and the instructions they include with their products are unmatched in the industry.
Seriously, they include guides for how to cut and press each material, how long to press it for, at what temperature, when to peel back the carrier sheets, what kind of surfaces they fare well on and so much more. Crazy right?!
